We perform Property Valuations, HomeBuyer Reports and Building Surveys as instructed by you directly when you agree our Terms of Engagement. HomeBuyers Surveys may include a Valuation on the instructions of a private client, however this is not used for mortgage lending approval purposes. We need personal information from you to contact you such as your name, phone number, address and email address. We may ask for your signature on our Terms and Conditions contract. We may also be provided information by you in the course of a complaint or enquiry. When there is a complaint we may need to share your information with the Property Ombudsman, the Financial Ombudsman (or similar) or with our Insurers. We need to retain your information for regulatory, compliance, contractual, legal and tax purposes. We do not send your information to any other third parties. 

We may have got your personal information from third parties where we promote our services – such as ReallyMoving or an Estate Agent – where they have already received your permission to share with us.

You may ask us to inform you of what personal information we hold and you may ask us to amend or delete this information or to restrict processing. Please send your request to my attention, clearly marked ‘Data Protection Request’. We aim to review and, if possible, to act on your request within twenty one days of receipt.
